Day off the bike.
Went for a walk with Bailey and then had lunch and did my washing. Mulled wine followed at Anna and Coen’s before another walk with Bailey. This time the phone rang and I had to run all the way back up to the house to accept my passport from DHL. Hooray I can now travel!
My passport has arrived!
As my dog sitting job had disappeared due to the sad passing of Dior I now had the chance to see in the New Year in Glasgow with Helen, so I immediately booked flights from 29th to 3rd Jan for just £42. Bargain. Then I borrowed Anna’s soldering iron and found some solder in the hardware shop which the guy gave me from his own roll without charge. I went to Andy’s bar to celebrate with a beer watching the sunset and then back for dinner.
