A fantastic day back on the road. I was up at 9.15 and had free brekkie of sausages and scrambled eggs with muesli and tea. Then packed, showered and left at 11.30. I managed to find my way out of the city with a bit of forward planning for a change and went on the 1073 heading south west, which was a much better option than the main road and I enjoyed the ride with a few big ups and downs. As I approached my hours rest I was in the middle of lots of roadworks where the road was down to one lane and uphill.
The clouds started to gather as I left Karlovac and by the time I reached Belavici I was glad that the lovely receptionist told me of a great spot under a roof, so I’m out of the rain and don’t even need my flysheet.
