I got up at 8.30 for brekkie of ham and cheese toasted sarnies and bread and jam, coffee and OJ. I packed, showered and left at 11. I took the cycle path along the river which soon ran out so I took a minor road uphill along the river side.
I then joined the main road and a moped pulled alongside me to ask what I was up to. When I joined the motorway a guy shouted from above and cheered and waved me on.
During a long walk looking for glasses and somewhere to eat in Apucarana, I witnessed a murmuration of starlings who were joined by swifts flying across the square and diving at traffic from the trees.
