Day 674 25th May 2018
Santo Tome
A day off spent taking a long walk to find brekkie in the only panedria open as it’s a bank holiday to celebrate the first government of Argentina and its independence from Spanish control. I also spent some time finding out about why Argentines put a bottle on top of their cars to signify that it’s for sale and their insatiable desire for thermos flasks.

No sign of a campsite
I took a lunchtime walk to the river and discovered there is no campsite just a very posh looking house with an expensive car parked outside. So I’m glad I didn’t try to camp there as I’ve decided to stay here and rest up for a couple of days, while watching the Champions League final and letting my left knee and shoulders recover from the stress put on them by this rn14 single lane road.
