Day of rest visiting the town.
I got up at 9 for brekkie of fried egg sarnie with chilli sauce and coffee. I watched the family making delicious cookies to sell for Chinese New Year. Then we made our way to town and had coffee at the Geographer cafe and visited lots of the sights Teddy had recommended; including three churches, a Chinese temple, a Muslim mosque, the Formosa and lots of museums.

We went to the shopping mall to buy a new lens cap for Lucas and chill in aircon. We split up to have separate lunches, but the chicken and rice restaurant closed as I joined the queue, so I went for a walk to look at antique shops and the like before having chicken and rice in a small restaurant with delicious iced coffee.

Browsing the shops
On the way back we stopped at a bike shop where we both had our gears adjusted for the bargain price of 15 ringgit each. I had a shower and then went to dinner with MJ, Laura and Teddy. It was a great restaurant called Aunt Molly”s. We had a big variety of dishes and a sour iced plum drink for me, followed by cedor for dessert, which is a shaved ice with lots of different flavours and very sweet.
