Day 924 30th January 2019
Sedili Besar
Another day of rest at the wonderful Bob’s place.
We went to breakfast at a different restaurant and I had Nasi Lemark with Nescafé. We picked up Wan and Iree from the hospital and went back to the house for Indonesian tea.
Then I tried to help move a big plant in a very big pot across the garden. It was hard work even with 3 of us and at one point half the pot came away in one’s hands as he fell back onto a tree stump. Then Lin put his back out as we moved it into position. We finally got it into place.
I showered and went fishing, but caught nothing on the other side of the river and then visited a pricey resort.

I found a Chinese restaurant for afternoon beer before going to the evening market.

When I got back to Bob’s house he couldn’t hear me ringing the bell from the garden so I went to find him. Our usual evening restaurant was closed so I went to find WiFi at the phone shop and then got wet in the rain on my way back. Bob, his wife and cousin and his wife and I all ate a delicious take away the like of which I have not known. We had lobster, prawns, rice and noodles and it was delicious.
We discussed badminton, fishing and golf among many other topics and had a great eve. I went to bed at 10.30 after packing my bags.
