Day 941 16thFebruary 2019
12 miles (Pontian to Uncle Tan and back) Average speed 10.2 mph Top speed 17 mph
I got up at 10.30 and went to the bike shop where we gatecrashed another wedding for breakfast of curry, rice, coffee, orange juice, green bean soup and ice cream, we were all rather hungover and all that food gave us a lift. With the energy boost we all played basketball and then some triple jump but we weren’t particularly good at either!

Back at the bike shop we had a rest and chatted before returning with Loick to help him finish packing. After a rest I went to meet Carla and Amelie to watch the sunset with Sean and Nick who drove there.

Sunset
Then we went to Uncle Tan’s and the girls cooked dinner with the aid of my now infamous fruit chopping skills, I cut up two tomatoes!! I brought some beer so we could have a drink with dinner, but the girls had been working all day, so I left at 8.45 and went back to meet the PCC.
On the way I stopped at a place where the music intrigued me and went in only to find I was at a funeral! This is becoming a habit!! I apologised for intruding and left when they invited me to take photos!!
Back at the club I spoke to Sam who said Nick was on his way as I had no keys. Then we all went for some beers at the seaside restaurant and then continued at a karaoke bar where I played pool badly while the others sang.

Karaoke
Aki aki helped me set up the table and I played her at pool without realising that she needed paying for her services. At which point she threw a cigarette at me, how was I to know?? I was then hustled by a local to play for 50 ringgit and Tony from Korea didn’t help much by offering me vodka during the game, he’d already bought me a bottle of beer. I thought he might be trying to hit on me until I saw him with a girl! Needless to say I lost the game.
