A good day despite the wheel.
I got up at 7.30 and showered with the thousands of ants sharing my bathroom and the beetle dying in the corner of the room. I packed and went for coffee at the cafe and used their knife to cut my dragon fruit. I was making great progress in the heat, it was tough but very fast.
Mekong river
After an eventful few days I’ve made it to Vientiane. I’ve learnt a lot and managed to ride without two spokes on my rear, weight carrying wheel.
Improvised bodge

I didn’t have fishing line to mend them, but improvised with fishing net wire and when they broke, cable ties.
