5 miles (Luang Prabang to Pak Beng by slow boat. ) Average speed 9.4 mph Top speed 20 mph
Time for a change of pace although the pace is probably the same but without the pedalling. Day one of my slow boat trip along the Mekong. Bike tied to the roof after I’d climbed up to secure it. 10 hours of cruising relaxing and enjoying the scenery. It’s tough for someone that doesn’t like to sit still but I enjoyed the enforced rest!
