A good day of cruising again. I even managed 30 mins sleep!
I got up at 7 and had brekkie of omelette sandwich and two coffees with a chicken baguette for the boat. I got two banana cakes for the journey at a bakers and two litres of water. The boat was much better than yesterday and let me put bike inside behind the skipper.

I bungeed it to the rail and settled in for the 9 hrs trip.
The boat was very quiet with only twenty to thirty people on board which meant we could spread out and had lots of room to lie down and with my inflated pillow I was very comfy. Watching the scenery pass by was very calming even if the river was a torrent of eddies and currents. It’s been a very dry monsoon season and the water marks showed that the river had been at least feet higher in the past.

Many fisherman and children frolicking in the river passed by with waves and helloes. I slept for 30 minutes but on awaking I felt compelled to take a photo as I felt I had missed out on some of the scenery. I had lunch and coffee that I had in my bag and enjoyed the peace.
This is the life!
