Pont D’Ouilly
Time for a day off, well it is Sunday! Still up at 7, to do all my chores. Washing, cleaning, housekeeping, Charging batts.
I was having a morning coffee at the kayak bar and just met Paul Burrows who is running, swimming and cycling to Paris from Jersey in race against Matt. I thought I was mad! Shared some road highlights with him and bid him Bon Voyage.

Then I bought brekkie of pate & bread and did my washing, it’s a glamorous life on the road. Checked Satnav has route for next part of trip but it has now frozen.
Then after a nap went kayaking down the Orne, great fun going over the weir.

I’ve had a lovely day and managed to kayak down the weir without mishap 3 times. It probably wasn’t a good idea to take my phone but I managed to stow it away in the bank!
Just had a lovely meal at Chez Fanny, I kid you not! I went for the local fish.

No bars open so I’m sitting around my wood burning stove with a beer ! Itchy feet, I’ll be back on the Tarmac tomorrow.
