What a day! Was up early. Alain was too. He got me a baguette as he was going to the boulangerie. So I gave him boiling water to make his coffee. Packed up then showered in the disabled cubicle as the other one smelt of pee! On the path at 10, and what a fantastic path! which made for a great morning’s ride at a good pace. Stopped for coffee and a bit of battery charge at Rohan. Then on to Josselin for a wonderful lunch of moules et frites in the chateaux pizzeria / restaurant.

Then a bit of a slower afternoon with a full belly. Some very scenic riding, I love a canal, me.
Stopped to take my shirt off as it was so hot and this girl flashed past. I tried to catch her up but it took a while, eventually I did and she stopped in the next town as I headed for the campsite which was very tempting as it had a pool.

Then she followed me into campsite and checked in behind me. I got chatting to my new neighbour Flora and then went shopping and for a beer in town and then a swim. No need for dinner so I went fishing and caught a few roach. Back to campsite to share a bottle of rosé and cheese and baguette with Flora from Holland and stayed up chatting till gone midnight.
Great campsite with old vintage caravans.

Camp St. Andres Roche
Ermintrude : I am going to give this campsite its own post as there are lots of pictures to show what it is like.
