Day 157                                                        23rd December

Frigiliana<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A day off the bike. I took the bus into Nerja and went for a walk round the shops.. Looked in a bookshop for Vernon’s present but couldn’t find a suitable book. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Found a bar that was just about to close opposite one I’d been to before but they didn’t have wifi. So I went to CK’s for wifi and a pint or two.. Very English and quite old clientele but entertaining all the same. Then went to the beach to watch the sunset with a sarnie and a beer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Back to Good Stuff who were having a carols evening but it was so busy I didn’t bother trying to get in. Then went to Mercadonna and watched a parade through the streets with sweets being thrown to the children. Got the 7pm bus back up to Frigiliana and headed to Andy’s Bar where I had a few too many beers while chatting to Coen and a Scotsman whose name escapes me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I staggered back to Vernon’s at about 9.30 and fell asleep in the lounge. All this while Nola was suffering with a bad shoulder. I was not the most popular person that night!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
