Day 158 to 169                           24th December to 4th January

Christmas and New Year<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(Ermintrude ; Brian has been so busy enjoying himself that he hasn’t kept  many notes from this time, so I am not going to try and go day by day for this part of the diary)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I have had a fantastic time with my friends, experiencing Christmas on the beach at Caleta with Vernon, Nola and Bailey, and then flying into Glasgow for a Scottish Hogmanay. A great day of footy and NYE celebrations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went to Halfords to buy a new inner tube and back light to take back with me. Then to watch the Old Firm derby with supporters shouting abuse at each other across the bars. Celtic won 2-1. On to Hampden Social Club to meet old friends before taking in QPS 1-0 defeat to bottom of the league Stranraer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A brilliant way to end the old year and welcome the new. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
