60 miles (Alvedsjo to Kalmar) Average speed 12.9 mph Top speed 26 mph<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span>A fantastic day to get back to my journey. A tailwind all day, but not as warm as most here, so I wasn’t too hot while making good progress. I was up at 8 and had brekkie of bacon and eggs with tea. Then I packed up and tidied up the house. Finally I left at 11.30 and found the cycle path all the way along the coast to this limestone polishing windmill which was originally turned by horses before the windmill took over. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The path was a bit heavy at times and I was flying with the wind behind me so I had to look out for thick gravel and ruts and the occasional speed hump or cattle grid to keep me on my toes.It was a great view with the sea to my right and lots of birds and flowers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
