I was awake at 6 and emailed the hostel in Hamburg with the wrong dates ( I really should know not to do anything before tea!) got up at 7.45 and went across the road to a lovely hotel for good buffet brekkie. I checked out of this room at ten and the friendly owner gave me another room with double and single bunk beds for the same price including brekkie, so moved in upstairs and had a shave.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then I went to check out the beach footy tournament but although very good, a bit wet. I managed to visit an off licence to buy wine for tonight’s dinner and a couple of beers. Then on to Absolut tour and learnt a lot from a very good pretty guide. Unfortunately due to Swedish alcohol laws they are not allowed to give free samples or sell the vodka, but next year they will be opening a restaurant to get around these strange laws.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the hostel I had lunch and made a few calls before rushing back to the footy thinking the final was at 4, but I had to wait until 7 for the men’s final. At least I got to see plenty of skills from men, women and children.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I couldn’t decide what to cook for dinner so ended up with salad and hummus from the coop which was delicious with the bottle of Chilean Chardonnay.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
