Day 450                                                  13th October

7 miles (<\/span><\/span>Cortemilia to Vassali) Average speed 7.1 mph Top speed 22 mph<\/p>\n

I got up at 8.30 for brekkie of ham and cheese sarnies with tea. I left at 10.30 and saw the market in town before heading along the valley and climbing up the side to Vassalli. A good climb in the morning heat. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I waited about 30 minutes for Andy while enjoying the views from his house. I thought he was in 15, which was a derelict building behind his, but fortunately he has a wonderful place. I settled in and we got on really well. We went for a long drive to find a supermarket to buy supplies for the weekend. Then we had a few beers on the balcony and Andy cooked a delicious pasta and green bean and pesto dinner.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
