Day 455                                                   18th October

A good day off. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I got up at 9 and had brekkie of boiled egg,cheese and tomato sarnies with tea, which  was followed by some washing and sunbathing by the pool. I caught up with some emails and stuff. I found a skateboard that someone had left behind and googled it to discover it was quite a good American make and possibly worth a few quid. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went into town at 3 and had a look around. There was a Michelin recommended restaurant called Bri and lots of churches. At a playground\/ sports area I discovered a new version of boules I\u2019d not seen before with bigger heavier balls, in which the older guys playing would take a run up and toss them. It looked quite physical and very skilful.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then I checked out the harbour and cycled along the seafront before buying dinner and returning up the hill to campsite to cook roasted chicken with pasta,tomato and onions. The flies were driving me crazy so I sat by the reception for a while to get away from them before an early night<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
