Hotel Cortijo de Los Grullas once the rain stopped<\/p><\/div>\n

Another great day in which I avoided the rain by leaving at 1pm to miss the thunderstorms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On my way I passed the Picadero Camargo stables who organise horse riding and trekking around the area; beautiful horses in the stables and fields.<\/p>\n

On reaching El Palmar I discovered this :

A surprise coincidence on my arrival at El Palmar – 3333.3 miles ridden!<\/p><\/div>\n

I’m now at El Palmar on the coast where the surf is up and the dudes are doing their stuff. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(Rad) camping tonight, just to fit in but all the wood for my fire was wet so 2 hours to cook dinner. It’s great to be back under canvas and self sufficient. It’s been a while, it was almost nostalgic setting up camp. It’s a month since I blew up my bed! Another great day in paradise.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It has been a day for horses; Brian The Snail (racehorse) runs at Catterick tomorrow (25th  October 2016) 1.20 race. Anyone following my website snailpacecycling.co.uk should consider a little punt. I’m going all out with a fiver. Anyone who knows my betting policy will know that this is big money.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
