Day 148                                                        14th December

49miles (Castellar, La Linea and back )  average speed  11 mph  Top speed 31 mph<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Up early and had brekkie of pate and toast, then rode out to Castellar<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and all the way back down to La Linea. On the way I saw a new born foal learning to walk and storks in nests on railways and a falcon in the electric lines.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In La Linea I bought steak and veg for dinner and went to a rastro. Then it started raining so I hid under a motorway bridge and put my raincoat on, but it didn’t look like moving on any time soon so I just went for it and got very wet for the next hour or so. Stopped for a drink at the Dubliner and discovered an email from home to tell me that the boiler at Cornmill had broken, so I spent some time sorting out emails and calls.
