Day 42 30\/8\/16<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Day off in preparation of the big push.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A day\u00a0 in Biarritz spent washing, cleaning, bike maintenance, setting up phone, sunbathing, swimming, and riding around looking at beautiful people who mainly seem to have lots of money. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Washing all done and dry; phone now working –\u00a0 Hooray! Had a clear out of panniers. I have been to the jacuzzi and now I’m relaxing with a beer to charge batteries. Think I’ll have plat de jour later.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last seen here in Biarritz – I bet he’s off to the disco looking for French lady snails<\/p><\/div>\n

Went for a ride around town to everywhere I was yesterday in search of Brian but he obviously wants to stay here. Checked bins and drains and all sorts of places and was getting some strange looks! It would be hard to explain that one in English let alone French! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went back to the local beach and watched the sea for a while and then back to the campsite for dinner: plat de jour of grilled prawns, salad and frites with crepe to finish.
