Day 250                                                  26th March

Nimes<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hire bike today so no stats but probably about 20 miles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Up at 9.30 after a bit of a heavy night at the rugby. Brekkie of muesli and tea. No rain so I decided to go for a ride. I went through country lanes until I found a massive park where I cycled round and enjoyed the peace before taking some more country lanes and then headed back to Nimes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I bought a croque monsieur and did some of the city I had yet to explore, then sat by the busy fountains on a bench for an afternoon doze. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There were quite a lot of people about and it was a good people watching spot. I found an interesting hotel with lots of stuff stuck to the walls but couldn’t find the front door! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then back at the hostel I had dinner of leftover pasta and a beer before an early night. In bed by 9.30 after a relaxing day – but the bike could do with a few more gears.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
