Day 261                                                       6th April
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

35 miles (Nimes to Connaux)  Average speed 8.3 mph Top speed 27 mph<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span>Late start as I didn’t wake until 8.30. I then cleaned the bike and repacked all the bags, sorted out my shoes and threw out my desert ones (it was a sad parting), cooked omelette with cheese and chorizo and said goodbye after a shower.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went through Nimes where the one way system messed up my route, though I eventually found the right road. I went past a rock venue and sports centre and a very strange building that I wasn’t sure what it was? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After a while I decided to take a detour to see Le Gard bridge and river but a 6 mile detour and they charge 15\u20ac just to go in and there was nothing to see unless you paid up, so I found my way back to the road I should have been on. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
