Day 290                                                       5th & 6th May

Groningen<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A day off the bike spent at a music festival to celebrate Holland’s liberation from Germany.. I danced with teenagers in the mud and had a wonderful time.. I only got to see 3 of the 6 stages but really enjoyed a wild night,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

More free drinks. Nic, Layla and Jasper provided me with beer and tequila without even knowing it was my birthday. I’m beginning to like students.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After a rather heavy night I’m booked into the hostel in the last bed available for tomorrow. My friend Guy, who I watched Seville v Barcelona with, has secured two tickets for Groningen v psv on Sunday and now I’m off to the liberation day festival. I’ve also washed all my clothes. Pretty good day so far.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
