FC Lorient – ticket office<\/p><\/div>\n

Today we went back to FC Lorient for a repeat of photos taken yesterday that went missing with the phone : now THAT is important, all those lovely pictures of me, I hope someone has saved them somewhere, otherwise we\u2019ll have a lot of steps to retrace. A thousand miles worth!<\/p>\n

1000 miles – time for a rest!<\/p><\/div>\n

While Brian celebrated having covered 1000 miles already, I hid in my bar bag, that dog was definitely waiting for something\u2026 it wasn\u2019t going to be me.<\/p>\n

I stayed there for quite a long time, while Brian tried to speak French to Jean, another cyclist who was going the same way as us, and they were both practising their language skills. It was a hot and very bumpy ride, the bike was suffering and we had to stop to mend the locking nut for one of the panniers, but eventually we found the campsite at Pontivy and I could get out and cool down while Brian cooked his dinner and talked to more French people.<\/p>\n

In my rightful place<\/p><\/div>\n

Next day I took up my rightful place on top of my bar bag, so I could see where we went, and acknowledge all the other cyclists as they went past.\u00a0 Brian stopped for coffee at Rohan, and then on to Chateau Josselin, where he stopped for food. There was a big tower right by the road, and lots of people cycling past.<\/p>\n

More riding by a canal, until we got to Le-Roc-St-Andre and stopped for a photo opportunity at the church<\/p>\n

I am worn out!<\/p><\/div>\n

before heading to the campsite, where Brian unpacked and then went off shopping, and then fishing, and chatting up Flora, who passed us on the road but booked in to the same campsite. I was left to my own devices. (I like it that way, I can go and meet the locals, and browse on the local flora, I mean vegetation) I was very glad to have some decent R\u2019n\u2019R, as the next day proved to be hot and dusty, and the next campsite was busy and noisy.<\/p>\n
