 I’m celebrating 400 days on the road by staying in a hotel instead of sleeping in the garden of one. Last night I camped in joszi bacsi hotel’s garden with their receptionist explaining they were full for the carnival that starts today. Can you imagine this happening in an English hotel? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After I’d set up my tent and had a fantastic meal in the restaurant the receptionist came to the end of the garden to inform me that they’d had a cancellation, but as I was all set up I decided to stay in my tent. So it’s Roman carnival time here in Szombathely, Hungary, for the next 4 days. I’ll be checking out the festivities tonight but so far I’m loving Hungary. It’s 29 c the people are all so friendly and the countryside beautiful.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I’m having some real iPhone battery issues. I know it’s an old 4s and I should buy a better one but if I turn it off overnight with 80% charge why should it only have 50% in the morning? Even if I keep it in a warm place! Any helpful suggestions welcome. Thank you. Off to see some Romans now.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
