43 miles (Cascavel to Matelandia) Average speed 13 mph Top speed 39 mph<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A fast day.<\/p>\n

I got up at 8 for brekkie of omelette with ham and cheese with coffee. I showered, packed and said goodbye, and left another towel on the washing line. !<\/p>\n

I left at 10.30 and took the road downhill to the main road. As Welton had said it was mainly downhill but with quite a few ups too. I stopped at the top of a hill for a drink of cold water and found myself surrounded by butterflies, it reminded me of the David Attenborough film in the jungle where they all hatch at the same time. They landed on everything including my hands, head, sunglasses, saddle and gloves.<\/p>\n

Then I stopped at a restaurant to buy a drink to have with  my lunch in a park but not before chatting to the locals about my trip.<\/p>\n
