\n<\/span>I got up at 7 to relight the fire, singing the take that version, and managed to get it going from the embers ; it took a while to boil water which provided me with tea and Magdalenas for brekkie. The owner came over to say good morning while walking el capitano, the dog, but he didn\u2019t ask for payment, I expected to pay on my way out, but as I left there was no one there. I probably could have left some money, though I didn\u2019t know how much and as they\u2019d never mentioned payment, I just left. A shame as they were so kind in giving me food, that I would at least have liked to thank them and say goodbye.<\/p>\n

I hit the first hill which I\u2019d already done yesterday to buy food so I could compare directly the difference in carrying all my load. I conclude it\u2019s a lot tougher fully loaded! I tried to get air and water at the garage that didn\u2019t sell beer, but they wanted to charge me for both, so I filled up water bottles in gents and carried on. I had a few options for campsites to stop at today but opted for the very first one I came to as it was set in a park with an impressive waterfall.<\/p>\n

There were also meant to be a few hotels around as the weather forecast predicted thunderstorms tomorrow. The camping was only 70 peso and the entrance to the falls was 30, so a bargain. I pitched the inner tent in one of the many bbq areas with a sink, a fire and chimney and most importantly a roof. I went for a walk but ended up having a burger back at the campsite which was awful but I needed sustenance. Then I had a beer and went for a dip in the freezing cold waterfall. Very invigorating and then I dried out relaxing in the afternoon sun.<\/p>\n

Delightful, I knew I\u2019d made the right decision to have a short day.<\/p>\n
