Day 911                                                17th January 2019<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

25 miles (Atos tol ) Average speed 10.3 mph Top speed 22 mph<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A day of sightseeing.
\nI got up late and as it was raining I took my time and read before leaving at 12. I went to a bike shop to buy an adapter and then onto the floating mosque where I was treated to a bottle of water and welcomed in. I saw inside the mosque and they had lots of leaflets designed for non Muslims. The people were really friendly and I waited for some heavy rain to pass and chatted to a few on their way to pray.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I visited the polo field and the stables where I saw Rosita. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then I had lunch\/brunch at a small restaurant nearby where I was treated to lunch by another Rosita who paid and chatted with me, there was also an older guy who wanted a photo. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then I went to the national museum which is supposedly the largest in Asia. I went to pay and the nice lady gave me a ticket for 5 ringgit instead of the 15 I should have paid as a tourist.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It was very interesting with lot of arts and design which showed local work practices.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
