I went to the market, but it was so enclosed I didn’t want to leave the bike, so I had a coffee and free tea before going back to last nights restaurant for a chicken club sandwich and chips with delicious coffee.

As I was leaving I met Alba from Pamplona and we chatted for a while. She had a very old white sit up and beg bike that she was given by somebody in a hostel whom she had happen to mention that she would like to tour by bicycle. That man gave her a bike and she then couldn’t really go back on her word. She had just cycled the 100 + km on the road I was considering taking north. She was going to the same Tatai waterfall as me and I was hoping to meet her there but maybe she had a long breakfast!!

Tatai waterfall

I climbed up to the waterfall and after a 2 mile sandy track got there, paying 1 dollar entrance fee but it was worth more than a dollar!!
