49 miles (thanh tan to Quang Ngai) Average speed 13.2 mph<\/p>\n

A good fast day with plenty of cloud cover and a good tailwind.<\/p>\n

I was awake late after another late night with the mayor and local business men.
\nI got up at 8.30, and had a big shock when I discovered my bike was not where I\u2019d left it! Then the owner showed me that he\u2019d moved it into an empty room. What a relief!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I packed and left at 10.20, had breakfast of pork rice and beans with iced tea near the beach for 30000 dong and then headed into the westerly wind for a couple of miles before joining the main 1 road. I think it may have been quieter on a Sunday and the road was good with a wide shoulder. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I stopped for sugar cane juice and a lie down in a hammock with a smelly dog and then pushed on. Coming into the city I had another revive energy drink and then stopped outside a shopping mall to use their WiFi to find this hotel only 100 metres away. I checked in and went for chicken and rice for 25000 dong before watching tv and an early night. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow may be a big day if I attempt 75 miles to hui na so I will need a good nights sleep.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
