Day 1065                                        20th June 2019

38 miles (Phu loc to Hue ) Average speed 10.7 mph<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A day of two hats.
\nI got up at 9 and went for coffee at lavender cafe. I tried to buy banh my but ended up with two bread rolls! So no breakfast for me.<\/p>\n

I left at 11 and took the main road to the Emperors tomb.<\/p>\n

I stopped for water and a revive drink but still no food available. I continued and had a wash in a petrol station. I left my hat and gloves drying next to a water pump and rested by a fan, only to find the guy washing down his lorry had stolen my sweaty hat! He left my gloves, but now with no hat in the midday heat, I was struggling and very pissed off that he could steal it.<\/p>\n

I reached Hue about midday and spent a couple of hours exploring the buildings and sights at the Emperor’s tomb<\/p>\n

I then went to find my hostel and to relax with a beer by the river before preparing for an evening of football and sightseeing.<\/p>\n
