Day 1092                                        17th July 2019

60 miles (Nakan to Vientiane )
\nNo computer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A good day despite the wheel.<\/p>\n

I got up at 7.30 and showered with the thousands of ants sharing my bathroom and the beetle dying in the corner of the room. I packed and went for coffee at the cafe and used their knife to cut my dragon fruit. I was making great progress in the heat, it was tough but very fast.<\/p>\n

After an eventful few days I\u2019ve made it to Vientiane. I\u2019ve learnt a lot and managed to ride without two spokes on my rear, weight carrying wheel.<\/p>\n

120 miles of nursing<\/p><\/div>\n

I didn\u2019t have fishing line to mend them, but improvised with fishing net wire and when they broke, cable ties.<\/p>\n

120 miles nursing my bike, avoiding potholes, lorries and police chases.<\/p>\n
