46 miles (Viewpoint to Xiang Ngeun ) Average speed 9.8 mph Top speed 38 mph<\/p>\n

What a tough day.<\/p>\n

I got up at 5.30 to watch the sunrise over the valley, but it was mostly covered in cloud as was I.<\/p>\n

I gave the family 100000 kip for accommodating me and watched them going about their daily business. The mother insisted that I stay for noodle soup to set me on my way which was much appreciated.<\/p>\n

Then it was uphill for the next 1.4 miles, I\u2019m getting used to it and am still proud to declare that I have never got off and pushed even if locals are walking fast than me!<\/p>\n

I left today thinking I had nearly reached the summit but after another 1.4 miles I was still going up. Then I was challenged by another 2 mile climb and many more shorter ones to reach the nearest hotel. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
