I was awake at 9 and had coffee with chicken sandwiches for breakfast.<\/p>\n

I left at 11 and followed the 1 highway until the turn off to cross the Ping river at ban Tak, where I stopped for sprite and ritz crackers. Then it was a good road all the way along the river with a few undulations and the odd spot of refreshing rain until I reached Tak.<\/p>\n

As my saddle was in a very bad way after trying and failing to repair it last night I was very lucky to find a bike shop in town with a very helpful owner who spent 30 minutes with me fixing it. He didn\u2019t charge me and said it was the first Brooks saddle he had worked on!<\/p>\n

Then as the rain got heavier I was very lucky to see a sign for this hotel which was much cheaper than anything online. So I checked in and relaxed as the heavens opened. When it stopped I walked to the football stadium to see if any games were on, but there were not so I returned and took the bike to the night market where I had chicken steak for dinner.<\/p>\n
