Late start as I didn’t wake until 8.30. I then cleaned the bike and repacked all the bags, sorted out my shoes and threw out my desert ones (it was a sad parting), cooked omelette with cheese and chorizo and said goodbye after a shower.
I went through Nimes where the one way system messed up my route, though I eventually found the right road. I went past a rock venue and sports centre and a very strange building that I wasn’t sure what it was?
After a while I decided to take a detour to see Le Gard bridge and river but a 6 mile detour and they charge 15€ just to go in and there was nothing to see unless you paid up, so I found my way back to the road I should have been on.

I’m in Connaux tonight in a campsite. All is well but it’s very windy again! Up to 65kmh gusts today so I decided to wait till tomorrow for the wind to die down. Campsite 16€
