Day 474 6th November
Ben Mansour and Moulay Bousselham
Another day off the bike.
I got up at 8 to meet Mohamed and go to Moulay Bousselham in his Fiat van/taxi. After a shave and wash I had brekkie with the family and Mohamed arrived at 9.30. We went via the motorway which gave me a chance to check out the road; the a5 which seemed pretty good by Moroccan standards so I will take that when I leave as it avoids the heavy traffic.

Beach at Moulay Bousselham
We got there and went for a nice walk along the beach. It was good to be back in familiar surroundings again and I liked knowing where everything was and visited my shoe repair man that I’d taken photos with. We had a chat and then Kamal and the others went to the mosque while I had a coke with Younes. Then we took quite a while to choose some fish for lunch which was cooked in a restaurant nearby.

A feast of fish
There was so much fish that we didn’t manage to get through it all and took a doggie bag home.
We walked around the Souk and then headed back and had tea at the house. I slept most of the way back as all this doing nothing can be very tiring. Then we went to see how Aziz was getting on in his new house and had more tea. I needed 40 winks, but Siri came back to pray and as it was a holiday the prayers seemed to take longer, so I didn’t get much sleep before going to the patisserie and then having spaghetti with milk.
Kamal tried to persuade me to stay longer and the negotiations are ongoing! More tea before bed at 11.30.
