I was up at 7.30, showered and we left at 9.45. Yongjie rode with us to a breakfast stop at an Indian restaurant where I had three roti, one was a tissue which stood high like a hat.

Then we made our way to the No.2 expressway which we took for ten miles in the motorcycle lane, which runs alongside the main road and as long as you can stay left is pretty safe.

I was ahead of Lucas but soon the motorbike path closed and I had to join the road, where I missed the turn off and Lucas. So I had to climb some hills and go up and down to get back to Simon’s house. I waited for Lucas but he went straight to the house.
We met the lovely Simon, Isabelle and Leo and chatted before they went out and we baby sat Leo. We had dinner of veg curry and rice and I watched tv after playing with Leo. At 9.30 they returned and we chatted about touring and Warmshowers until 11 when we went to bed.
