The fun I had at Le-Roc-Saint-Andre campsite – they had a proper garden, with proper plants and – wait for it – Flowerpots!
And then we made our way to Nantes via Bouvron where I met some new friends who could ride a tractor (gave me a new perspective on farming), watched lots of people buying treasures (a boot sale, one man’s junk is another man’s clutter!)

New friends at Bouvron

Who can drive a tractor

Would this be more comfortable than the bike? I’m not sure it will be going anywhere fast – but then neither do I!

One man’s junk

is another man’s clutter
found a signpost to La Briantiere – home from home perhaps? But we didn’t go there to find out.

Now There’s a place!

Can we visit? Please, can we? Please?

Huh ! We never go where I want to, it’s always “Me, me, me!” with him. Shame my foot doesn’t reach the pedals, I’d be off like a rocket
We got to Nantes and found the cobbles, so I had a very bouncy ride to see what the signpost said and then went to see the Cathedral (another church? In England we navigate by the pubs, here it seems to be the churches)

Cobbles , not my favourite surface when riding on a bike.

Another signpost – now where?

Nantes Cathedral
And here in Nantes I had another fun time at the campsite.

Brutal Cider – for a snail anyway – attractive but lethal.

Fine dining
A playground just for me :
And then a trip to see the elephant, and the roundabouts.

Elephant walking

he’s coming this way!

Doyouthinkhesaurus?

Where is the heffalump trap?

Aah – there he goes
No sign of the magic roundabout though, with all my friends,

Far too much water around this carousel

Ah – the water is imaginary

Closer but still not the real thing

There they are!
