Day 105 1st November
12miles (Sanlucar to Bonanza and back) Average speed 8.3 mph Top speed 16mph
After an extended stay in Puerto de Santa Maria I’m now in Sanlucar before heading to Seville tomorrow. It was a great place and very handy to explore the sherry region. It was good to meet Alistair Cook (not that one) and the many friends I made at campsite. The ferry to take me and bike to Cadiz was good value at €2.60 for a 30min journey. Beats the Isle of Wight! Cadiz is also very beautiful and a brilliant place for cycling. Apart from the wind.

Sand banks Sanlucar
Today I have had brekkie in a bar and tried to get stuff done to apply for my new passport but 1st November is All Saints Day so nothing open except bars. Therefore I had tapas and beer and rode around town looking at the sights.

Church of Our Lady of O.

Castillo de Santiago, Sanlucar
Then onto Bonanza and checked out the salt works and beaches. I came back to Sanlucar and decided to have an early night.
Sanlucar is lovely with loads of places to visit and great food, I am still not recovered from having my bag stolen.
